The date is set - February 27th, 2010 - is our re-chartering date!

The date is set for the re-installation and re-chartering of the Theta Kappa Chapter! It is Sat., Feb. 27th in Statesboro, GA. All alumni, parents, and friends are invited to the Installation Banquet Saturday night. Initiation will be held at 2:00pm that afternoon for the new brothers. The colony has decided to have a “Theta Kappa Alumni Team” of past commanders perform the ceremony, with founder Robert G. Williams officiating, as well as participation from several key Sigma Nu dignitaries. Please many your calendars as we work out the final details – formal invitation and much more details will follow.

Big News! Petition for Re-Chartering Approved! Date Set!
|

At 5:11pm ET on Tue., Nov. 10th 2009, we were notified that the High Council of Sigma Nu had approved the petition for re-chartering of the Theta Kappa Chapter! Congratulations to the colony members with a special thanks to Robert Williams, Scott Mobley, Eric Johnson, and the entire Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) for their leadership in getting this to the finish line. Look for more announcements on the installation weekend, but we believe it will be February 27th and will be combined with our 40th annivarsary (1970-2010). The date will be finalized in the coming weeks, so mark your calendar and plan to attend!

This site is communications channel for Sigma Nu Fraternity at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. It is for its brothers, members, alumni, families, friends, and prospective members. We also maintain a Facebook group named “Sigma Nu - Georgia Southern - Theta Kappa", which is another aspect of our communications plan.
