From our Advisors

  • The Theta Kappa Chapter has an Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) that is responsible for the advisement of the collegiate chapter. For more about the AAB click here. To hear from the Chairman of AAB continue to read below.

  • Thank you for visiting our website and your interest in Sigma Nu Fraternity. My name is Bill Geddy and I am the Chairman of our Alumni Advisory Board (AAB). The purpose of our AAB is to advise, mentor, and provide guidance to the chapter at Georgia Southern University. In my role, I facilitate our board and its interaction with the collegiate chapter. Additionally I work directly to advise the Commander (President), Chapter Council, and the chapter as a whole. I also interact with our alumni and GSU staff.

I would like to thank all of our alumni volunteers, past and present, for their dedication, sacrafice, and service to the chapter, the fraternity, and to our young men! Without each of you and the support of your families this all would not be possible. Our current list of volunteers is at www.SigmaNuGSU.com/volunteers. I would like to especially recognize and thank those volunteers that serve on the Alumni Advisory Board (www.SigmaNuGSU.com/advisors) and those advisors who have served over 5 years:

    • Tony Fair, ΘΚ 9
    • Chris Garretson, ΕΡ 933
    • Bill Geddy, ΘΚ 219
    • Bruce Groberg, ΔΑ 722
    • Eric Moore, ΘΚ 273
    • Keith Roughton, ΘΚ 373
    • Larry Sands, ΘΚ 325

Our AAB has a wide variety of members who advise in the key areas of fraternity operations, such as alumni, finance, house, leadership, membership, operations, recruitment, risk reduction, service, university relations, and Sigma Nu’s ground breaking LEAD program. The AAB serves as a board of advisors to work with individual officers and committees to improve and enhance the fraternity experience of our young men. Our advisors are volunteers from across Georgia and most are Sigma Nu alumni. We have recruited advisors from the community, our chapter alumni, and Sigma Nu alumni at large in the area.

I am available to the members, alumni, parents, prospective members and their parents, and to university and community leaders. If you have a question or would like to speak to me, please send an email to Bill@WMe3.com or click here, I will be notified, and I will contact you right away.
